Like most of the people she
has interviewed and observed, her greatest motivation is
not the draw of the broader world,
but the inner
frontier of her family, where the mysteries of the
universe are played out on a tiny stage. She and her
husband live in Dallas, Texas, with their three
children.
Mattia's current work,
"Conversations with George Bush", is a poignant and
revealing glimpse into the American psyche.
She explores the concerns, social issues, and life
experiences that help to answer the question, "What is
an American?". |
